Onironauta Desert Dream
The Dream That Asked
A jungle bloomed upon the dune,
Its vines were stitched with silver moon.
A lemur laughed on shifting sand,
A riddle coiled in its tiny hand.
The Sphinx exhaled a silent cry,
“Will you answer, or pass me by?”
I stood between the step and flight,
The question burning into night.
I spoke no truth, I made no sound—
The dream just turned and sank in ground.
Yet still I wake with desert eyes,
And echoes shaped like lullabies.
